He said he is ecstatic that 49,251 shares of Berkshire Hathaway worth $4.5 billion voted in favor of asking the company to publish a sustainability report. Norma Mejia Castellanos, a sewing machine operator from Honduras, had the opportunity to second the resolution and tell Warren Buffett about the terrible working conditions at her factory. The support of over 6 percent qualifies the resolution for resubmission next year.
